Hi MMW_AU,
Thank you for following up on this.
Bonny and I have replicated your use case in our test file and is having the same experience as you are.
I would suggest excluding transactions from the for review section as the expense transactions have been manually created already.
Hi MMW_AU,
Welcome to QBCommunity.
Thank you for the screenshot, it's been helpful in clarifying this.
What I would recommend would be to create an expense for the purchases, equal to the total amount of the items + GST. Then, you can match the bank transactions and that GST fee to the expense.
To match them properly, you will have to select the bank transaction, and then select Find Match. From here, find the expense you created and then Save. Repeat for the GST amount.
Hope this helps!
Bonny
Thanks Bonny, I just tried your solution. When I select FIND MATCH, the only transaction that can find a match is the $24.83 one, and the match it finds is the $6.35 expense. Could it be that FIND MATCH will only find matches for an expense that is equal to or less than the amount for review? Because that is what appears to be happening.
