I erroneously deleted a Sales Invoice of a prior month. Can this be undone so as not to affect my previous tax filing?

At this time, restoring a deleted invoice isn't possible in QuickBooks Online. You can recreate the transaction and use the details in the Audit Log. Let me guide you on how to check from there.

  1. Click the Gear Icon at the top right
  2. Select Audit Log.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow beside Filter.
  4. Select All Users and All dates.
  5. Under Events, tick the radio button beside the Show only these events option.
  6. Check the box beside Transactions and click the Apply button.
  7. Look for the invoice, and click View.
  8. Click the time to show the details.
Once done, recreate the invoice with the same date avoid any discrepancies in your current month tax return.
