Is there a way to input previous hst reports

Hi bruce6,

QuickBooks produces its own HST reports based on the transactions recorded. There isn't an option to import any reports. However, you can upload those transactions and assign HST, or create each transaction manually.

From the Banking page, here's how:

  1. Click on the Upload transactions for first time or File upload.
  2. Click on browse to choose a WebConnect file.
  3. Click on Next until you're able to upload the bank transactions.

From the For Review page, click on a transaction. Choose the GST/HST from the drop-down and click on Add. This will be posted to the register directly.

To record each transaction, please click on the Plus icon and choose Sales Receipt, Invoice, etc. You can also enter them using Journal Entry. It lets you assign HST.

Then, in the Taxes page, you'll be able to see an Open status for the tax return. Click on the Prepare return link to review the HST report. Then, click on Mark as filed to show that you're done with these reports.

We've got all you need in here. Just keep posting more HST questions or anything else. Have a great day!
