Why is my mileage tracking periodically is unable to load past trips and exporting blank excel documents when I download my trips?

My app and desktop both do not show this information and when I export, the only thing that exports is a blank Excel document.  I am left praying that a month worth of trips is not lost when I attempt to do this.  This problem has been persistent and has been and random in its frequency.

Hi attorneyjasonwil,

We receive reports about not being able to track and export mileage. Our engineers are already working to get it fixed. 

As a workaround, you can manually track it using spreadsheet while this issue is still in progress. I suggest contacting our support team to add you on the affected list of users. Here's how to reach them:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
  2. Select the Help (next to Assistant) menu on the upper right.
  3. Select Contact us.
  4. Fill in Ask a question (or tell us what’s wrong), then click Continue.
  5. Choose Chat.
