I am unable to access my payroll!

It states no payroll companies are affiliated with my account. Spoke with someone from your company about this issue 2 months ago

Hello there, @ingrabutler.

There are several reasons why you're unable to access your payroll. Let me share some troubleshooting steps on how to resolve the error promptly.

First, let's ensure to use the correct username when accessing your account. It could be a unique username or one different from your email address. Also, make sure that you're provision to access payroll. If you're not the account's Master Administrator, you may request so you'll be able to view your payroll.

On the other hand, to isolate your concern for a possible browser-related, let's perform these troubleshooting steps:
  • Access your account via a private or an incognito browser, press Ctrl+Shift+N or Ctrl+Shift+P.
  • Your browser’s history may cause problems with accessing your account. Clearing your cache and cookies fixes certain problems, like password concerns, loading or formatting issues on sites.
  • You may also use another web browser in accessing your account such as Internet Explorer, Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
  • Lastly, you can run the Browser Health Checkup tool to check your browser’s compatibility with the Intuit website.

If you're referring to viewing your payroll through QuickBooks Workforce, currently, there's an ongoing investigation about this error. I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team so you'll be added on the affected user's lists. Rest assured, once an update is released about these on-going investigation, you'll be notified via an email.

People come to QuickBooks Learn & Support for help and answers—we want to let them know that we're here to listen and share our knowledge. We do that with the style and format of our responses. Here are five guidelines:

  1. Keep it conversational. When answering questions, write like you speak. Imagine you're explaining something to a trusted friend, using simple, everyday language. Avoid jargon and technical terms when possible. When no other word will do, explain technical terms in plain English.
  2. Be clear and state the answer right up front. Ask yourself what specific information the person really needs and then provide it. Stick to the topic and avoid unnecessary details. Break information down into a numbered or bulleted list and highlight the most important details in bold.
  3. Be concise. Aim for no more than two short sentences in a paragraph, and try to keep paragraphs to two lines. A wall of text can look intimidating and many won't read it, so break it up. It's okay to link to other resources for more details, but avoid giving answers that contain little more than a link.
  4. Be a good listener. When people post very general questions, take a second to try to understand what they're really looking for. Then, provide a response that guides them to the best possible outcome.
  5. Be encouraging and positive. Look for ways to eliminate uncertainty by anticipating people's concerns. Make it apparent that we really like helping them achieve positive outcomes.
