How do we run debit cards without using the pin number?

Under the latest Release 9 (R9) update our customers are unable to run debit without using the pin. Is there a way around this?

Hi contact,

There's an issue when processing a debit card in QuickBooks Point of Sale. Ideally, it won't ask for a PIN number. Our engineers are already working on this to get this fixed. 

I suggest contacting our POS Support Team so you'll be added on the list of the affected users.

  5. Be encouraging and positive. Look for ways to eliminate uncertainty by anticipating people's concerns. Make it apparent that we really like helping them achieve positive outcomes.
