Need to reload software and can't find passcodes.

My desktop crashed and I just bought a new laptop.  I need to re-load my Quickbooks, but can't find my passcodes.  My husband ordered it in 2017 and he has since passed away.  Kay King

Let me get the help you need for you to get back to business

If you’re trying to access your QuickBooks Self-Employed account, you can do a password reset to get back into your account.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Sign In page.
  2. Click the I forgot my User ID or Password link below the Sign in button.
  3. Enter the phone number, email or user ID associated to the account.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Follow the rest of the instructions to retrieve your login credentials.

However, if still, you weren’t able to login to your account, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed support team so they can pull up and check your account.

To contact us, here’s how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
  2. Click Assistant at the top right.
  3. Type talk to human.
  4. Choose your preferred support method.

  5. Be encouraging and positive. Look for ways to eliminate uncertainty by anticipating people's concerns. Make it apparent that we really like helping them achieve positive outcomes.
