Why is it suddenly not letting me put $$ amounts in the invoice lines. I can enter it, but as soon as I 'add to invoice' it registers only the customer name not the $$

When adding line items in creating an invoice, there's no need to enter the dollar ($) sign. I'd be glad to walk you through on how it works.

To create an invoice, here's how:

  1. Go to the Invoice menu.
  2. Click the Create Invoice button.
  3. Select the recipient's name and email address.
  4. Type in the description of the service or item by clicking Add work.
  5. Break your work down by flat rate, hour, or item.
  6. Enter the Amount or Rate.
  7. Click on Add to Invoice.
