Hello! I just received an email about a charge not being processed. I don't have any associated Products. Details: " Customer account: [removed], Amount due: $36.00 "

I received an email about a charge not being processed. I do not have any Quickbooks products associated with my account, so I am confused as to why this is happening.

I would like this resolved ASAP - it appears I have been paying for products that I have not been using.

This was in the email:

Billing date: [removed]

Payment method: Credit card

Credit card: [removed]

Amount due: $36.00

Affected products or services: — Intuit QB Payroll Monthly Fee Enhanced

Let's first go to the Customer Account Management Portal Site (CAMPS) to confirm if you have an active QuickBooks product. From there, we can resolve this issue and make sure you will not be billed again. Here’s how:

  1. Go to https://camps.intuit.com/.
  2. Sign in using your Intuit account information.
  3. Choose the tile for QuickBooks Desktop.
  4. Go to the Products & Services section.
  5. Look for the app or subscription from the list.
  6. Choose Details.

If you have an active subscription, you can cancel it by performing the steps below:

  1. Click Cancel service at the top right.
  2. Select a reason for cancellation.
  3. Click Cancel on Next Billing Date to confirm it.

For more insights, you can visit this helpful article: Manage your QuickBooks Desktop Products and Subscriptions in CAMPS.

If there’s no active account in CAMPS, you’ll need the assistance of our QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Customer Support Team. They can help locate the origin of the charge in the email you received and help fix your billing issue. Here’s how to reach out to them:

  1. Go to https://payroll.intuit.com/support/contact/.
  2. Select your Payroll product.
  3. Choose Account.
  4. Click Chat with us.
  5. Enter your first and last name, email address, and the description of your concern.

People come to QuickBooks Learn & Support for help and answers—we want to let them know that we're here to listen and share our knowledge. We do that with the style and format of our responses. Here are five guidelines:

  1. Keep it conversational. When answering questions, write like you speak. Imagine you're explaining something to a trusted friend, using simple, everyday language. Avoid jargon and technical terms when possible. When no other word will do, explain technical terms in plain English.
  2. Be clear and state the answer right up front. Ask yourself what specific information the person really needs and then provide it. Stick to the topic and avoid unnecessary details. Break information down into a numbered or bulleted list and highlight the most important details in bold.
  3. Be concise. Aim for no more than two short sentences in a paragraph, and try to keep paragraphs to two lines. A wall of text can look intimidating and many won't read it, so break it up. It's okay to link to other resources for more details, but avoid giving answers that contain little more than a link.
  4. Be a good listener. When people post very general questions, take a second to try to understand what they're really looking for. Then, provide a response that guides them to the best possible outcome.
  5. Be encouraging and positive. Look for ways to eliminate uncertainty by anticipating people's concerns. Make it apparent that we really like helping them achieve positive outcomes.
