Unable to e-file federal and state e-forms

Hello...

 

I am able to e-payment my taxes, but when I try to e-file my federal and California forms it is grayed out... Any suggestions???

 

Thank you for your help (new user to Quickbooks)

Hey there, HITSS-Joe.

You've come to the right place for help with QuickBooks. Let's get your federal and state forms E-filed.

 

Before you can E-file your federal and state forms, first ensure that the payroll subscription is active and E-file enrollment is completed.

 

If you've already done this and the option is still grayed out, I recommend contacting our Payroll Specialists. Agents have the necessary tools to check our enrollment status and help you file the forms via QuickBooks.

 

You can get our most-up-to-date number here:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online Company.
  2. Click (?) Help at the upper right corner.
  3. Select Contact US on the pop-up.
  4. Enter a brief description of your concern then hit Continue.
  5. Click Get a callback.
  6. Enter your contact information.
  7. Select Call me.

Hello,

where do I find "Get a callback." button? I am looking for any contact info to contact Intuit Online Payroll Services to check on the PA state e-filing status. I am waiting for this status update for over 6 months now, since July 2020. Thank you. Leya [removed last name] [removed phone number]

Unable to e-file federal and state e-forms

 

Hi there, @leyamelnik. I can show you how to check the e-filing status. 

 

You can go to the Taxes & Forms tab to check for the e-file status:

  1. From your account, go to the Taxes & Forms tab.
  2. Select View Archived Forms in the Quarterly or Annual forms section.
  3. Click the form and check the E-file Status.

If you'd still like to reach our Customer Support, you can reach them through chat. The Get a callback option is for QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
