It’s nice to have you here in the Community, mangabeiracacau

I appreciate you providing screenshots to get a better picture of your concern.

Just to verify, which region is your account associated with? Is it for US, International or Australia (AU)?

Here are the possible reasons why you’re seeing your account and invoices with mixed English and Portuguese languages:

  • Browser’s language was set up in Portuguese.
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO) account you’ve set up is an international version.

To help fix this, let’s first check the language settings on your browser. If you’re using Google Chrome, let’s perform the steps below:

  1. Go to Menu button at the upper right. The menu button is represented by three stacked dots.
  2. Select Settings toward the bottom of the menu (see the first screenshot below).
  3. Once you’re in the settings menu, scroll down to the bottom of the list and click on Advanced to display additional options.
  4. Continue to scroll down until you see Languages. Check if it’s English or Portuguese (see the second screenshot below).

If you’re using an international version of QBO, you can change the language under the Account and Settings. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Click Advanced.
  4. Go to Language and click the Pencil icon.
  5. Click the drop-down and choose the language.
  6. Click Save.

If you want to sign up for a correct US version of QBO, you can perform the steps below:

  1. Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/.
  2. On the North America tab, click United States (see the third screenshot below). This will route you to the region’s website.
  3. Choose the version of QuickBooks Online that you need.
  4. Select to Buy Now or start a Free Trial.
  5. On the signup page, click Sign In or Add another account if you have an existing QBO account. If not, you can create a new one.

For more information about the signup process, here’s the helpful article you can check out: Create a New QBO Company.

I recommend the following link that contains tutorials for QBO designed to help you get started: QuickBooks Tutorials.

Please let me know how it goes, mangabeiracacau. I'll be here to help if you have follow-up questions or should you need anything else. Have a great day!

People come to QuickBooks Learn & Support for help and answers—we want to let them know that we're here to listen and share our knowledge. We do that with the style and format of our responses. Here are five guidelines:

  1. Keep it conversational. When answering questions, write like you speak. Imagine you're explaining something to a trusted friend, using simple, everyday language. Avoid jargon and technical terms when possible. When no other word will do, explain technical terms in plain English.
  2. Be clear and state the answer right up front. Ask yourself what specific information the person really needs and then provide it. Stick to the topic and avoid unnecessary details. Break information down into a numbered or bulleted list and highlight the most important details in bold.
  3. Be concise. Aim for no more than two short sentences in a paragraph, and try to keep paragraphs to two lines. A wall of text can look intimidating and many won't read it, so break it up. It's okay to link to other resources for more details, but avoid giving answers that contain little more than a link.
  4. Be a good listener. When people post very general questions, take a second to try to understand what they're really looking for. Then, provide a response that guides them to the best possible outcome.
  5. Be encouraging and positive. Look for ways to eliminate uncertainty by anticipating people's concerns. Make it apparent that we really like helping them achieve positive outcomes.
