Join nowI have noticed a glitch with QB for Mac 2019.
On the credit card / check entry window (not the register) the total of multiple items is not tallied in the top tab. You have to switch away to the other tab (expense or items depending which side you are on). After you switch away it totals.
Also if i revise an item I keep getting the error message that the balances do not match (even though they do). I have to delete the transaction and start again. This only happens when editing an existing entry.
Hello there, select.
Thank you for dropping by here in the Community. I'd be glad to help you figure out what's causing the issue to happen on your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
I've checked here and haven't found any reports from other users with the same issue as yours. Let's perform some basic troubleshooting to isolate the problem from the items pane.
We can start with running Verify or Rebuild Data utility to resolve any data damage on your company file. For the detailed steps, I'm adding the article I recommend on this (scroll down to Step 1):
Resolve data damage on your company file.
If the problem continues, please let us know by reaching out to our Support Specialists. They'll be able to create an open investigation if needed to fix the glitch.

Feel free to post your response if you have additional questions or concerns for me. I'll be here to help.
I'll ask QA to have a look and see if we can replicate this.
