We had a customer pay via credit card using quick books, the product was refunded, the company was charged processing fee why?

Thank you for reaching out the QuickBooks Community. Let me provide and share some information about the transaction fee.

The same processing fees as the original transaction will incur if you process a credit card refund to a customer's card after the batch closes. Batches close at 3:00 pm PST. Please know that voiding or cancelling transactions (those that occur before the batch closes) will not incur the same processing fees as the original transaction.

  5. Be encouraging and positive. Look for ways to eliminate uncertainty by anticipating people's concerns. Make it apparent that we really like helping them achieve positive outcomes.
