I'm an employee just signing up for the first time. Can't get past the first Personal Details page. Chat support doesn't work, and there are no other support options.

I am an employee trying to sign up for payroll. Personal Details page won't go past the first page. Online chat doesn't work and there are no other options. I can't even find out what service I signed up for through my employer.

Welcome to the Intuit Community, fredly

I can help ensure that you’re able view your paychecks for your company.

Since this is your first time signing up to the website, let’s perform a couple of basic troubleshooting steps to help you get past the Personal Details page.

Let’s use an incognito/private browser since it doesn’t store data in the cache and it helps isolate the issue. Please follow the keyboard shortcuts below to open a private browser.

  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N

If you got it to work, let’s try clearing cache and temporary internet files in your regular browser.

Once done, you’ll have to sign back up to the correct website. By doing so, you can create an Intuit account for your login. Just a gentle reminder, make sure you have your SSN handy and the net amount of your paycheck issued by the company to make the setup process easier.

Here’s how to sign up:

  1. Go to ViewMyPaycheck through this link: https://paychecks.intuit.com/.
  2. Click Sign Up at the upper right.
  3. Enter your email address and a password. Enter your password again to confirm it.
  4. Click Create Account.
  5. Enter your SSN and the net pay amount from your last paycheck issued by the company.
  6. Click All Done!

I’ve added a screenshot below to show you the second to fourth steps.

You can check out more about QuickBooks Workforce (formerly ViewMyPaycheck) through this link: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1770810. You can also use .pdf instructions for signing up on the website.

Once you’re able to sign up, you can now view 24/7 to your most recent and any prior pay stubs that your employer uploads to QuickBooks Workforce. You can also access help and live chat if you have further login issues in the future.

That will do it, fredly. I’m here anytime you need further assistance, I’m glad to help. Have a great day!

People come to QuickBooks Learn & Support for help and answers—we want to let them know that we're here to listen and share our knowledge. We do that with the style and format of our responses. Here are five guidelines:

  1. Keep it conversational. When answering questions, write like you speak. Imagine you're explaining something to a trusted friend, using simple, everyday language. Avoid jargon and technical terms when possible. When no other word will do, explain technical terms in plain English.
  2. Be clear and state the answer right up front. Ask yourself what specific information the person really needs and then provide it. Stick to the topic and avoid unnecessary details. Break information down into a numbered or bulleted list and highlight the most important details in bold.
  3. Be concise. Aim for no more than two short sentences in a paragraph, and try to keep paragraphs to two lines. A wall of text can look intimidating and many won't read it, so break it up. It's okay to link to other resources for more details, but avoid giving answers that contain little more than a link.
  4. Be a good listener. When people post very general questions, take a second to try to understand what they're really looking for. Then, provide a response that guides them to the best possible outcome.
  5. Be encouraging and positive. Look for ways to eliminate uncertainty by anticipating people's concerns. Make it apparent that we really like helping them achieve positive outcomes.
