Trying to access payroll on quickbooks desktop, msg says "Our web site has detected JavaScript has been disabled in your browser options...." How do I enable JavaScript?

I’m here to get the help you need to be able to access QuickBooks Desktop payroll.

To enable JavaScript in Chrome, here’s what you’ll need to do:

  1. Click the Customize and Control button.
  2. Choose the Settings menu item.
  3. Search for the JavaScript settings in the search bar.
  4. Under the Privacy section, click the Content settings button.
  5. Change the JavaScript setting by allowing all sites to run JavaScript.
  6. Click Done.

However, if you’re still unable to access payroll after following the steps provided above, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Customer Care support. They have the necessary tools like screen sharing to check your account and determine what caused the error.

Here’s how to reach them:

  1. Click this link
  2. Choose the QuickBooks Product.
  3. Select your QuickBooks Desktop version.
  4. On the Contact Us page, select a topic.
  5. Click on Get Phone Number button to see the support number.
