If you need to keep both accounts, there's a workaround. You need to download your reports from QuickBooks Self-Employed and manually enter the info into TurboTax Self-Employed.
Step 1: Get your reports from QuickBooks Self-Employed
- Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
- Go to the Reports menu.
- Find the Tax details report and select the correct tax year.
- Select Download and save the report somewhere you can easily find it.
Step 2: Manually enter the info into TurboTax Self-Employed
- Open a new browser window and sign in to TurboTax Self-Employed.
- Start or resume your tax filing.
- When you reach the section about income, use your Tax details report to complete the fields.
- Finish filing your taxes.
If you're subscribed to the Tax Bundle
If you're subscribed to the QuickBooks+TurboTax bundle for more than 6 months, there's one extra step. The bundle covers your filing fees. But, since your accounts aren't connected, we need to send you a special code so you don't pay twice.
Reach out to our team. Let them know you've had the bundle for more than 6 months and want to keep separate sign-in accounts for QuickBooks and TurboTax Self-Employed. We'll send you a one-time code to use on the TurboTax payment page. This code is only sent out once. The code gives you one free federal and one free state filing.
| Important: Included federal and one state filing is applicable to paying bundle subscribers. |
