Revel Point of Sale is offered for QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You need to complete two stages to begin using QuickBooks Revel Point of Sale. The third stage covers completing transactions.

Stage 1: Intuit setup (first 1 to 3 days)

  1. You’ve signed the Docusign contract and it’s been accepted.
  2. You’ll receive three different emails with the following information:
    Email Action you need to take
    Login information for Payments None
    Login information for QuickBooks Online None
    Login information for Revel Point of Sale Go through the wizard
  3. In the last step of the wizard, you’ll have an option to schedule your set up appointment either online or with a phone call.

Stage 2: Revel setup (10 to 15 business days after signup)

  1. The Point of Sale team will call at the time you scheduled to give you a tour and set up your customised Point of Sale system (1 hour call) (3-5 business days after sign up).
  2. While you’re waiting for your hardware, continue setting up your system as discussed in your welcome call.
  3. We will schedule another call to help set up your hardware once you receive it. During this call we will also have you conduct a test transaction to confirm (10 business days after sign up).
  4. The Point of Sale welcome team will call to confirm your settings and go over questions you have gathered after your hardware set up day (12-14 days after sign up).
  5. The Point of Sale welcome team will give you a choice for an additional call on your go-live date (as needed decided by customer and their confidence).

Stage 3: Completing transactions

If you need help with your products or upgrades and if you have questions while completing transactions in Revel Point of Sale, you can get in touch with a support specialist through the following:

  • QuickBooks Online: Call 800-914-2688, then press 1, then press 1 again
  • Revel Point of Sale:
    • Product or upgrades: Call 844-266-6630, then press 1
    • Cancellations, refunds, or other ongoing issues: Call 844-266-6630, then press 1
    • All other issues: Refer to Revel Knowledge test articles.

Effective January 1st, QuickBooks Desktop is no longer supported by Revel Point of Sale. Revel will remain working with QBO.
