At the end of each business day, you can record your total daily sales from the cash register as a Sales Receipt. This is helpful if you don't need to record every transaction, but simply want to report the daily total.

To do this, you must first set up an item to track cash drawer sales, then record each day's total daily sales as a Sales Receipt, then create a deposit for your daily sales.

Step 1: Set up an item for tracking cash drawer sales

The first step is to set up an item for tracking cash drawer sales.

  1. Select the Gear icon on the Toolbar.

  2. Under Lists, select Products and Services.

  3. Select New.
