Learn about the Federal Deposit and filing schedule change process.

New deposit and filing requirements take effect with the first payroll of the year. If the IRS or a state agency sends you (or your client) a notice about a new deposit schedule or filing requirement, you'll need to update the account before January 1.

If you're unsure what the correct Federal deposit or filing schedule is for your company, contact the IRS - 800.829.4933.

As long as you haven't made any tax payments you can change your Federal deposit and filing schedule. (If tax payments have already been made, contact Payroll Support for assistance.)
