Learn how to export reports, lists, and non-posting transactions and attachments.

Frequently, you'll need to export a report or list. This article shows you how.

Export your reports and lists data

All reports and lists can be exported to Excel. The data will be exported in a zip format.

To export your report or list:

  1. Select the Gear icon on the Toolbar, then select Export Data.
  2. Choose which reports and lists you want to export as well as a date range.
  3. Toggle the slider to off for lists you don't want to export.
  4. Select the Export to Excel button.

Once exported you'll see a selection of columns turned on by default. To add more columns, run the respective report via the Report tab:

  • From the left menu, select Reports.

  • Search for the applicable reports
  • Select the Export icon under the Toolbar.

Export non-posting transactions and attachments

If you need to export information that isn't in a report, follow these steps.

Estimates

  1. From the left menu, select Sales, then choose All Sales.

  2. Locate and open the Balance Sheet report.

  3. Under Type, select Estimates.
  4. Select your date range and any other filters you need, then select Apply.

  5. Choose Export to Excel

Purchase Orders

  1. From the left menu, select Expenses then Expenses.

  2. On the Expenses page, select the Filter button.
  3. Under Type, select Purchase Order.
  4. Select your date range and any other filters you need, then select Apply.

  5. Choose Export to Excel

Customer Statements

  1. From the left menu, select Sales, then choose All Sales.

  2. Locate and open the Balance Sheet report.

  3. Under Type, select Statements.
  4. Select your date range and any other filters you need, then select Apply.

  5. Choose Export to Excel

Attachments

  1. Select the Gear icon on the Toolbar, then select Attachments.
  2. On this page, select the attachments you want to export.
  3. Select the Batch Actions button and select Export. (Note: Your attachments will be exported in a zip format.)

Recurring Templates

  1. From the left menu, select Reports.

  2. Search for the Recurring Template List report.
  3. Choose Export to Excel

Chart of Accounts

  1. From the left menu, select Reports.

  2. Select the Account List.
  3. Choose Export to Excel

Products and Services

  1. From the left menu select Sales, then choose Products and Services.

  2. Choose Export to Excel
