Learn how to update the credit card information for your QuickBooks Online subscription.
You can either pay for your subscription with MasterCard, Visa, or AMEX. Here’s how.
Before you get started
- Only a Master Admin or Company Admin can update the payment information for your account.
- Payment information updates must be done using QuickBooks Online in a web browser. You won't be able to update payment information from the mobile app.
- If you purchased your QuickBooks Online subscription through an app store (iOS or Android), you need to update your payment information through the app store directly.
Edit card information
- Go to Settings ⚙ and select Account and Settings.
- Select Billing and Subscriptions.
- Select Edit ✎ next to Payment Method.
- Enter the complete credit card info and verify the billing address in QuickBooks Online is the same as the one shown on your credit card statement.
- Select Confirm card.
- Select Save Changes.
