If QuickBooks Self-Employed isn’t quite right for your needs, you can cancel your subscription through the app store any time in a few easy steps.

Cancel a trial

If you're in a free trial, there's no need to cancel. Cancellation happens automatically at the end of the trial and you won't be billed.

Cancel a paid subscription purchased through the app store

In order to cancel, you'll need to go to through the app store you originally started your subscription through. When you cancel, you continue to have access to your account, including all features, until the next billing cycle.

Cancel on iOS (iPhone or iPad)

  1. Open App Store.
  2. Tap your picture bubble on the upper right, then select your iCloud profile.
  3. Go to Subscriptions, then choose QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  4. Select Cancel Subscription.
  5. Select Confirm.

To cancel your subscription using Mac:

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. Go to the Account menu, then choose View My Account.
  4. Authenticate your Apple ID, then select View Account.
  5. In the Settings section, select Manage to the right of Subscriptions.
  6. On the right of QuickBooks Self-Employed, select Edit.
  7. Select Cancel Subscription, then Confirm.

Cancel on Android

  1. Open Google Play Store.
  2. Tap the Menu (hamburger icon) in the upper left.
  3. Select Subscriptions.
  4. Find QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

To cancel your subscription on the web:

  1. Go to play.google.com.
  2. Sign into your Google account.
  3. Select My subscriptions from the left menu.
  4. Select QuickBooks Self-Employed, then Manage.
  5. Select Cancel Subscription.
