This article guides you through the steps in processing a credit card transaction on your iOS or Android device.

  1. Launch the GoPayment app.
  2. From Home, select the plus icon (+).
  3. Process the transactions by Amount or Items.
    • Amount: Enter the amount to process.
    • Items: Choose from existing items. To  create new, select plus icon (+).
  4. Select the Review Order button.
  5. (Optional) Add the following information:
    • Customer name: Add existing or create new customer
    • Customer message: This appears on the customer’s receipt
    • Memo: This won’t appear on the customer’s receipt
  6. Select the Charge button, then process the transaction with the following methods:
    • Card reader: Bluetooth and audio jack readers can be used to swipe or dip (insert EMV card) card transactions.
      Note: The QB31 bluetooth reader can also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay.
    • Key card: Manually enter in credit card information or scan card by selecting the camera icon.
    • Cash: Input Cash received and GoPayment will calculate the Change due.
    • Check: Entering check number is optional.
      Note: Recording a check in GoPayment is only for record keeping and no funds are processed.
  7. The Signature option will appear for Card reader and Key card transactions. Hand the device to your customer and let them sign for the transaction with a Stylus pen or their fingertip.
  8. Select Charge.
  9. From the Transaction complete screen, you can send a receipt via Email or Text by selecting Send. If the customer doesn't want a receipt, select No receipt.

Blue Experience

  1. Launch the GoPayment app.
  2. From the New Payment screen, process the transaction by Amount or Items.
    • Amount: Enter the amount to process.
    • Items: Choose existing items or create new by selecting the Settings icon, then Manage Items.
  3. Select the > icon.
  4. Process the transaction with the following methods:
    • Card reader: Bluetooth and audio jack readers can be used to swipe or dip (insert EMV card) card transactions.
      Note: The QB31 bluetooth reader can also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay.
    • Scan card: Use the camera from your phone to scan the card.
    • Key card: Manually enter in credit card information or scan card by selecting the camera icon.
    • Cash: Input cash received and GoPayment will calculate the change due.
    • Check: Entering check number is optional.
      Note: Recording a check in GoPayment is only for record keeping and no funds are processed.
  5. The Signature option will appear for Card reader and Key card transactions. Hand the device to your customer and let them sign for the transaction with a Stylus pen or their fingertip.
  6. Select Charge.
  7. From the Transaction complete screen, you can send a receipt via Email or Text by selecting Send. If the customer doesn't want a receipt, select No Receipt, Thanks.
