What is Online Bill Pay for QuickBooks Online?

The following steps are to be taken by the Company and Bank account owner. We do not recommend Accountants setting up the Bill Pay feature for their clients, as this could cause issues. However, Accountant Users are now able to use the feature on behalf of their clients.

Direct Link

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account via a browser
  2. Copy and paste the following link into your browser URL field and hit enter
 
  1. Once on the Learn More page for Online Bill Pay, select Get Started to start the sign-up process
  2. Enter in your Company information, then select Next
  3. Next, you will take the steps to connect your bank account, select Next
  4. Enter in your personal information, then select Next
  5. Answer the few identity check questions

App Card

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account via a browser
  2. Select the Apps tab on the nav bar
  3. In the search field, search "Bill Pay"
  4. Select the Bill Pay for QuickBooks Online app card
  5. In the app card you will notice two (2) buttons. Be sure to select the "Get Bill Pay" button
  6. Once on the Learn More page for Online Bill Pay, select Get Started to start the sign-up process
  7. Enter in your Company information, then select Next
  8. Next, you will take the steps to connect your bank account, select Next (Online Bill Pay - Add a new bank account)
  9. Enter in your personal information, then select Next
  10. Answer the few identity check questions
