Why connect your accounts? Because it saves you from tons of manual data entry.
Your bank and credit card companies already store information about the money going in and out of your accounts. When you connect directly to your bank, you can speedily decide which transactions are personal and which are business.
Once connected to a bank, we'll download your data automatically so you always have up-to-date transactions. So, make sure you connect as many banks and financial institutions as you need! The more you connect, the more accurate picture you'll have of your overall finances.
To connect a bank:
- Click the Gear icon ().
- Click Bank Accounts in the drop-down menu that appears.
- Enter the name or the URL of your bank in the search box.
- Enter your sign-in info you use at your bank's website and click Connect securely.
Tip! If you can't find your bank by searching for its name, try searching for its URL instead. For example, "wellsfargo.com" will return a different set of results than "Wells Fargo Bank."
Note: We are unable to support banks with certain types of unique security measures, some of which include one time passcodes. In those cases, you may be able to disable the passcode to allow you to connect, or you can export transactions from your bank and then import them.
