After May 31, 2018, updates and add-on services will be discontinued for QuickBooks Desktop 2015, including Pro, Premier, Premier Accountant, Enterprise Solutions, and Enterprise Accountant Edition. 

Note: If you don't use any of the add-on services in QuickBooks Desktop 2015, your product will continue to work for you, but you'll no longer receive product updates starting June 1, 2018.  

If you're using a product affected by service discontinuation and want to maintain access to your services, you’ll need to upgrade to the latest version of QuickBooks Desktop as soon as possible.

​As services to older versions are scheduled to be discontinued, we notify affected customers in advance by email and through in-product notifications and information on this web site, such as this article. Please keep an eye out for updates on our future plans as they become available.

Product updates You'll no longer receive product updates for QuickBooks Desktop 2015.

Merchant services

You'll get a message that the service is no longer available, and you won't be able to process credit card transactions through QuickBooks Desktop 2015.

Accountant Copy Transfer Service

 You'll no longer be able to use this service in QuickBooks Desktop to send your accountant a copy of your company file.

Multi-currency & exchange rates

You'll no longer be able to use or turn-on this feature to assign specific currency types to your profiles and accounts and download the latest exchange rates within QuickBooks Desktop. 

Online banking

You'll no longer be able to connect to your bank through QuickBooks Desktop and will see this error message “QuickBooks Desktop is unable to verify the Financial Institution Information for this Download” during an attempt to download transactions.

Live technical support You'll no longer have access to live technical support for QuickBooks Desktop 2015. Support for installation, upgrades, error messages, and product defects is available only for currently supported versions of QuickBooks Desktop.

To receive live support on a pay-per-use basis (one-time support) after May 31, 2018, you'll need to have a currently supported version  of QuickBooks Desktop (2018, 2017, 2016).

If you choose not to upgrade, you can still get answers to common questions by searching the QuickBooks Desktop support site, but we don't provide live support for products affected by service discontinuation.

Replacement CDs and download links for QuickBooks Desktop 2015 will no longer be available.
