The recurring template name is never included on a transaction. For example, on an invoice, the customer never sees the template name.

Instead, the template name distinguishes the transaction in the Recurring transactions page. To open the page, click Gear icon > Recurring Transactions.

The Recurring transactions page already includes the following information about each memorised transaction:

  • Template Type (Type) - Scheduled, Reminder, or Unscheduled
  • Transaction Type (Txn type) - such as Invoice or Cheque)
  • Interval - such as "Every month"
  • Previous date and Next date - for Scheduled and Reminder types
  • Amount

On the template itself, you may want to enter other information in the Statement Memo field to help remind you and other users in your company about its purpose. Customers will see this information if you use statements, however.
