Set up pay stub access for an employee

  1. Select the  Employees tab.
  2. Select the employee's name.
  3. In the Employee Site Access box, select Edit.
  4. Enter the employee's email address.
    If you previously entered it during the employee's initial setup, you can verify it here. If it needs to be changed, go to the employee's Basics section.
  5. Mark the Access Paycheck Records checkbox, and select OK.

Set up pay stub access for a contractor


Note:

  • Contractors are not supported using Intuit Online Payroll Basic.
  • Pay stub access on Paycheckrecords.com is only available to contractors set up as individuals, not businesses.

  1. Select the Employees tab.
  2. Select the contractor's name.
  3. Select the Not Enabled link (next to Paystub Access under Basic Information)
  4. Enter the contractor's email address.
    If you previously entered it during the employee's initial setup, you can verify it here. If it needs to be changed, go to the employee's Basics section.
  5. Mark the Access Paycheck Records checkbox, and select OK.

Employee viewing/accessing pay stubs

Once the employee or contractor has pay stub access, they can view all paychecks you've approved for them on the PaycheckRecords.com website. The employee or contractor will be able to change the date range on their report to view different time spans just like an employer can.
