What is happening?

  • One of the crucial parts of installing any QuickBooks Desktop edition is entering the correct License number and Product code.
  • Once the corresponding codes are entered, validation of the software follows.
  • However, if the encrypted file containing the info is damaged, QuickBooks Desktop will NOT launch and an error message may appear.

Immediate Solution:

In such cases, deleting the Entitlement file and re-entering your license number and product code may resolve the issue.
