Opening QuickBooks splash screen displays and disappears without opening QuickBooks
While opening QuickBooks, you may see the Opening QuickBooks splash screen but QuickBooks does not open.
The following troubleshooting steps are for the Windows operating system, which is not an Intuit product. The steps can become complex if errors occur while repairing or uninstalling .NET Framework. If you are not comfortable doing these steps on your own, Intuit recommends you consult with your computer's manufacturer or other computer professional.
How to fix it
Intuit recommends more than one solution for this problem. The first solution may solve your problem, or you may need to try all of them to resolve the issue. For best results, perform the solutions in the order shown.
If you have this problem while opening QuickBooks:
- Make sure your Windows regional settings are set to English (United States).
