Developing Great Board Members
A good executive director or pastor works to develop healthy and functioning boards. Governing boards are the skeleton on which everything else hangs. If the board is in deep conflict, neglected or otherwise not functioning, you can be certain the problems will spread and become endemic. Church boards (within the boundaries of denominational structure) need these steps documented as much as any other organization.
