Getting Field Service Management ES setup and configured

When Work Orders are created you are asked to create a contact that already exists.

To resolve this you need to clear your browser cache.


On Internet Explorer 7 (IE7):

  • Press the Alt key to get your menus
  • Go to Tools>Internet Options
  • You should be on the General tab
  • On the Browsing History section of the dialog box click the Delete button
  • Click OK

Then you should be off to the races.

On Internet Explorer 8:

Same procedure as for IE7 except, that you also need to make sure that the Temporary Internet Files checkbox is checked before you hit delete

Creating a list of the technician personnel without giving them user access?

Intuit Field Service Management (IFSM) comes with one free user and with that you get one free non-login user. After that you must purchase more users. Intuit does not sell one user licenses, so the first purchase you can make is a 3 user license but this will get you 9 more non-login users. So other than purchasing more users there is no way to create a list of techs that you can assign jobs to.
