Year to Date Figures
I am switching to QuickBooks from a manual system and cannot figure out how to enter the year to date figures for the receivables accounting. Please advise.

Company menu > Make Journal Entries
For the A/R use Opening balance Equity.
THen create an item in the items list fro opening blaance & post each open invoice with that item. The Opening balance Equity account should zero out after you enter the invoices.
