Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! During this time, you can shop, but can’t place orders online, activate products or update account info. Wow - QuickBooks ONLINE document storage will be discontinued

Big Changes in the attached document feature!

QB 2012 will NOT support online storage of documents via the new "Doc Center", and you can't get QuickBooks Attached Documents as an addon.

QB 2011 customers can continue to use QB Attached Docs if you have it, UNTIL the service is retired in 2014. You can't sign up for the service if you don't already have it, also.

QB 2010 customers will lose their service altogether in 2013.

Big changes - the good news is that local storage is entirely free in QB 2012 (and in QB 2011 if you change your plan).
