Have any of your Wisconsin clients received a form 1099-G for thier state refund?
Not one of 50 or so clients have brought in a 1099-G regarding thier Wisconsin Refund. Did Lacerte [removed] up on the question regarding the mailing of form 1099-G or is Wisconsin ignoring it and not mailing them out?
I use Ultra Tax CS and have not seen a 1099-G this tax season either? A client said he called WDOR and stated I filed the return last year saying he did not want a paper 1099-G. I don't recall such a request but it looks like it is happening to more than one software vendor.
In 2010, you had to go to screen 3, Wisconsin miscellaneous and check the box that you wanted a paper 1099 (under electronic filing).
