Why does "Do not file" appear across my return?
why does "Do not file" appear across my return? it used to say "draft version".

The solution
It says "Do not file" since you cannot file those forms.
If you use Pro Series Basic I might not be able to help you. If you use Turbo Tax I might refuse to help you. All others, watch out! ;-)

If its a tax return for 2008 or prior, its possible that the watermark feature has been altered to read "do not file" instead of "draft."

If it's 2009 does it really matter? With either wording, it means the forms aren't finalized and you can't file them yet.
