I am running Firefox 3.6 on a mac with os X. I switched to safari and the problem is resolved, although I now have to switch between firefox and safari in order to use quickbooks, which is inefficient

possible for you to try it in Firefox 4? (you dont have to uninstall FF3, since it will install in a differnt directory) I would try it myself, but since I cant reproduce the issue in Firefox 3 in the 1st place, trying in FF4 wont buy me much.

Also, does the issue happen to you persistantly? Or is it sporadic. Like happens once every 5 times you go to registers.

OPTIONAL - If you want you can help even further by installing firebug (http://getfirebug.com/) addon. If you decide to install it, enable it (right click enable all panels) by the "bug" icon you will see in the lower right corner of the firefox window. It will be grey, and when you enable it, it will be colored. Once installed and enabled do your regular stuff in registers page. If an error occurs firebug will show an error in the lower right corner, same place as the icon. Click the error to see what it says and post it here. To disable it, just uninstall the addon or disable it same way you enabled it. It will turn grey. I would recommend having it disabled all the time since it eats up memory and can slow page performance. Thanks

I have to hit reload 9 out of 10 times.  It's rare that I get lucky and it works the way it is supposed to.

I will try the FF 4 and let you know how it goes.

The FF4 seems to be working, though I got a big warning saying use at your own risk because FF4 beta is not supported by QBO yet.

My operating system is Windows 7.

I guess my problem is solved for now. Thank you for the help. :)

Thanks for trying it out. It seems this issue happens in FF3. I don't think anyone has reported it happening in FF4 yet but then again not many are using FF4 right now.

FF4 is due release in less than a month, once its out I will remove that warning you saw. It there to pretty much signify that you are running a beta browser.

If you are using FF4 as your main browser now, do tell if you encounter any other issues. Want to get everything ironed out before its final release next month.

I am using Firefox 3.6 for Mac OS 10. I can't get FF4 for Max OS 10. I avoid the problem by using Safari, although this is not efficient either as I have to keep switching between the 2 browsers. the problem does not happen in safari

I am using FF3.6 for MAC OS 10. I cannot get FF4 for a mac. I avoid the problem by using safari right now, it doesn't happen there, it has its own issues but are less annoying than having to reload the register each time.

It is not efficient to use two browsers for me though, so if it can work in FF 3.6 for macs that would be great!

What version of OS 10 do you have? Tiger or Leopard or Snow Leopard?

Here is FF4 for the mac (you can just dump it on your desktop rather than applications folder for now till the final release next month)

http://download.mozilla.org/

Unless you mean you can't get it since someone is not letting you to get it?

If you can try that, do tell if you experince registers page issue in that or not.

The fact the FF registers page issue doesnt happen on FF4 and happens only for a few on FF3, seems to be like a render crash in FF3 itself...
