This is my second payroll ran for 2013. I just noticed a line on my 941 that says medicare employee addl tax, but there is no deduction. Is there something that I need to do to correct this???

The 0.9% Additional Medicare Tax should only be deducted from an employee's paycheck once the employee's Medicare wages are in excess of $200,000 in 2013. You mention that you noticed a line on Form 941 that says Medicare employee addl tax. Where in QuickBooks are you seeing this Form 941?

But probably, NO.
The additional medicare tax does not calculate until the Employe has earned $200,000 in 2013 taxabble wages.
