Where to enter #'s from closing, long after starting a company file?
Where do I enter beginning inventory? closing fee expense? Goodwill? I need to enter these #'s months after starting the quickbooks company.

You can start at the Mac users guide and serch for the things you are looking to enter and it will pretty well guide you.

For QB 2010 for Mac, go to the Help menu and choose "User's Guide" to download the free ebook. Chapters 2 and 3 provide basic set-up information, including how to enter historical transactions.
