Where are QuickBooks Pro 2010 data files stored?

Simple question: Where are QuickBooks Pro 2010 data files stored? How can I find this out when QuickBooks Pro DOES NOT OPEN?

(Previous questions answered only address when software is working I can use F2 to see file path.)

Trying to do a clean install because I get a registration file problem, but that's a whole other story.
