QB 2008 hangs when I try to print or go to printer set up for payslips and invoices. I am running Windows XP. I have already tried renaming the qbp files as .old (I appear to have had 2). All suggestions appreciated.

I'm sorry this is such a puzzling issue. The following article will walk you through many steps to resolve printing issues. It also show you how to delete the QBPrint.QBP file, which will be recreated when you try to print. It also covers other things that can cause printing issues with quickbooks.
