Just purchased QB Pro 2011 to take over accounting for a owned company. However, the QB Pro 2008 company file was damaged. We purchased data protection and had the company file repaired. Trying to install repaired company file but it I need my Account ID because it is part of the password for the fixed company file. How do I find out what my account ID is?
When are you getting the Account ID message? Did you get that when tried to open a company file or when you tried to register your QB Pro 2011?
I am havign exact same problem as EmileVictory. My file was corrupt and I just got an email from Intuit Data services and in order to acces the download I need an Account ID which is used as part of my PIN to access the customer login at https://filefix.intuit.com/dat...;
I have no record of an account ID. Pease let me know where I would find it..

I would contact support for this question. If you have your case number, that would be ideal. They can identify your case and get to your Account ID quickly. Here is a link to help you get started.

Your other alternative is to use the password reset tool to reset the password on this file. Here is a link if you want to go that route.
