We have our annual Worker's Compensation audit coming up, and the Auditor has requested that I have a "Cash Disbursements report, which includes your journal showing monthly totals for materials, subcontractors, casual labor, cash receipts..." What report would provide this information? I can't find any canned report labeled "Cash Disbursements."
They just want to see the Check Register and Petty Cash Register (if you have one)
that shows all the money you've paid out through the business.
You could just print out a General Ledger for the specific time frame they want, found under Reports > Accountant & Taxes.
My General Ledger report is a 70-page report for each month. I think I'll wait until the auditor arrives before I print all of that out for him. Thanks for the reply.
You can modify the report to only print the Bank Activity.
Go to Modify Report > click the Advanced button on the Display tab and select "In Use" and OK.
Then click on the Filters tab and in the "Account" field, select "All bank accounts", then OK.
