What does "List Index Out of Bounds" message mean?

When trying to save PO, error msg comes up "List Index Out of Bounds". System freezes. Must reboot POS to continue. Why is this happening. No its NOT low system resources, that has been checked. No its not an old PC, that has been checked.  I

 have POS 8.
