W-2 Printing for Terminated Employee

US QuickBooks Premier : 2012: Accountant

W-2 printing for terminated employee, paid in error in 2011 by direct deposit. The W-2 has no amounts, since the direct deposit has been voided, but may have been voided incorrectly. How do I delete this W-2. Support doesn't seem to know.

If the paycheck has been voided, then the Employee will still have a W-2 but there will be no entries in the various boxes.
If you delete the paycheck, then no W-2 will be created for the Employee.

I  hope this helps. Let us know by clicking on the "This Solved my Question" button or posting back with more information.
Thanks.

Unfortunately I couldn't delete the paycheck  because it was a Direct Deposit. However, in the end I just didn't print the W-2 and the real problem was there appeared to be a notice about a missing W-2 on the W-3, but thankfully it did not print on the actual form.

Thanks for replying

Check your W-3 to make sure the correct number of forms is printed on it.
