Virginia 760C
Why is 760C for the state of Virginia not available in Pro-series although it is on Virginia'a website?

im not sure but you may need to just run your updates. and that will fix it, mine is working..
It appears that the 760C is still not released in final form although it does appear on the Virginia website as of 12/08. Intuit claims that after it is on the website it would be finalized withing 15 days. Intuit is taking the position that it could be released today, tomorrow or even next month for that matter. Intuit is taking their normal cavalier attitude. Does anybody else seem to care if this form is ever released? Can't speak for everybody but this is causing a huge backlog in my office.
I am also still waiting for Frm 763. I downloaded form ProSeries.com but the download does not have the Non-Resident Form either. I have no choice than to wait for Intuit.
If you're tired of waiting for the 760C you can override and blank the first field on the form. You can procede to e-file the state form. The State of Virginia may not be very happy about not using form 760C, but if it's available what else can we do?
I am not sure the electronic filing option will work. Will probably fail error checking an even if you turned off error checking the return would probably be rejected by Virginia because it is a 2007 form (760C). A better solution would be to complete the 760C from the Virginia taxation website and migrate that into the Virginia return and file a hard copy. This form has been available since 12/08 on the Virginia website so I am not exactly sure why Intuit is dragging their feet. This will absolutely impact my purchasing decision next year.
Tech support indicates that neither the 760C or 760F are available as of 2/18/09. Intuit says it is working on fixing whatever problem has held up the final forms. VA 763 is also not available for electronic filing and Intuit is working on this issue as well. It does appear that the 763 can be paper filed however.

After waiting 38 minutes for Tech Support to answer I found that the form is still not avaiable and this will definitely impact my decision to stay with ProSeries next year.
