Can I view the forms when entering data (on the fly, ie Sch A)?

Your question is unclear. If you are asking can you view the form Schedule A while you are doing the data entry, the answer is no.
Intuit Tax Online is not a forms-based data entry system, so you will not see the form.
You can however, after completing the data entry in the Itemized Deductions (Sch A) screen on the ENTER DATA tab, move over to the CHECKC RESULTS tab then choose FEDERAL TAX FORMS>Sch A and you can see how the form has populated.
That's what I thought when navigating the software. I was hoping it allowed a choice like ProSeries. Thanks.
I am new to ITO - used Lacerte until now but was priced out of that software. I spoke a long time to the support team when setting this up. I asked if they had a "user idea" forum like Lacerte (and likely ProSeries) does. He said not at this time, but he was going to bring it up at the next meeting. He thought it was a good idea to get input from users in what we want to see in the software. This software is so new, that our 'comfort' ideas will be way at the bottom of the list of their 'functionality' ideas... but over time they will improve it based upon how we give feedback. So keep a watch out for that "user idea" forum where we can use our 10 'votes' to tell them how to improve the software.
happy tax season :-)
