Vendor insurance expiration date fields are not visible in the Quickbooks Accounting version.
Since I use the accounting version, that is what I open client's files with, and it would be useful for me if things like this were visible. It takes awhile for QB to switch back and forth between versions, and I would rather not have to spend that time.

Toggle to the Contractor Edition. Go to File>Toggle to Another Edition and then select Premier Contractor Edition. The expiration dates will appear in the vendor records. I hope this helps.
As I mentioned, it takes awhile for QB to toggle back and forth, and I would rather not have to go through that.
Basically it's a request to make these fields show up in the accountant edition.
You can define your own fields for the information, just click the Define Fields button and add what you need.
Then create a report and Memorize it using those fields.
In the Contractor version, it automatically reminds you when you go to pay a vendor with expired insurance. That is useful.
This is a helpful tool in the Contractor Edition. If you need to use the tool, currently the only way to get there is to toggle. Have you entered a product suggestion through the Help Menu item? I would also suggest that your client enter a suggestion as well. I have seen a lot of enhancements to QuickBooks as a result of customer suggestions.
