Mark it as Inactive. You do this in the Vendor Center. Where it says view, make sure it says All Vendors. Then mark the vendor with an X, click to the left of the Vendor. Change the view back to Active Vendors, and its gone. (it's really still there, but underneath, where you do not see it).
