I see that Form 1120S can be efiled and there is a box to check for state efiling. When I go to Virginia Form 502 Pass Thru Entity, I do not find any indication that it can be efiled. Can this state return be efiled?

You designate state e-filing on the Federal Info Sheet. If both Federal and state show up on the EF Center Homebase, both can be e-filed.
I have a similar situation. I have checked the EF State box in the Federal Information Worksheet. However, in the drop down list in the state box below, Virginia Pass Through is not listed. Maryland is there for my MD 1120S clients. Strangely, Proseries is not flagging me with an error on this. But VA State is not listed in EF Center.
Best of my knowledge, Virginia does not accept efiled S-corp returns. Must be paper filed.
Thanks! This makes sense as VA is not in the drop down list and the 502 does not show up in EF Center as EF Ready. One would think that Proseries should generate an error if the "File State(s) Electronically" Box is Checked.
